Since I’ve had my Silhouette Cameo, I’ve become a collector. I’ve collected fonts and SVG cut files. At first, it was a pretty expensive collection to acquire. $2 here and $10 there, is more than I wanted to spend. So, just like any other thrifty bargain hunter – I decided to try to make my own. That was very short lived. However, I did one better. I found a collection of places that I could get them for free. That’s right! FREE 99! Here is a (growing) list of places that offer free SVG cut files and fonts.
The Hungry JPEG –
This site includes SVG files, graphics, mock-ups, and fonts. It’s easy to add so many things to your cart for purchase – but they also offer a ton of free svg cut files and free fonts. The files offered on thehungryjpeg.com are great quality and make creating things super easy. Most of their files are available for commercial use, which is perfect for anyone looking to start a small business using their cutting machine.
CraftBundles –
I’m pretty sure Craft Bundles and The Hungry JPEG are connected in some way. This site specializes in really amazing SVG cut files that are sourced from various designers. There is an awesome search function that leads you to a selection of files that will fit your needs. In addition, there are new freebies released very frequently. The best part of this site are the bundled offers and the $1 deals. Be sure to sign up for their newsletter to get emails about them.
Design Bundles –
You can access a wide range of fonts, graphics, and cut files through design bundles. They offer bundles that include multiple elements as well as individual files to purchase. I am have a Plus Membership on this site, which allows me to access 8+ free files each month as well as a 10% discount on all purchases. Design Bundles also has a large freebie selection that updates almost weekly.
Font Bundles –
Anyone that has tried to design or owns a cutting machine knows about falling down the font rabbit hole. Font Bundles has a large selection of free (for personal and commercial use) fonts. They also have $1 deals regularly. Some of my favorite fonts have come from this site. A font will make or break a design. Check here when you need the perfect text for your project.
Hoop Mama –
When I first started making shirts with my Silhouette Cameo, I came to Hoop Mama. Her designs are some of the cutest. You’ll often see other designers very inspired by her work. She creates trendy and catchy designs that are perfect for fun shirts. She does offer a few freebies every Friday (sign up for the email newsletter for updates) as well as a membership plan that allows you access to a ton of great things. Hoop Mama also have a companion site for growing your business Craft Mock-Ups. She is a mom that knows how to make it work with family and being a #bossbabe.
My Designs In The Chaos –
I have known Michelle for a while because of our love of planners. I’ve been so excited to see her design site grow. My Designs in the Chaos makes super cute and trendy designs for your cutting machine. She also offers a freebie each Friday. If you’re looking for something that matches the season or a special occasion, she has some of the best SVG files for shirt designs. They are also very easy to use and cut on your machine. So Fontsy –
I just recently learned about this design company through a promotion from Swing Design. So Fontsy offers design bundles, fonts, and SVG cut files. They have a small Freebie section with a few very unique designs and their own So Fontsy font.
Creative Market –
I usually source design files, wordpress themes, and other digital goods from Creative Market, but they have such an expansive library of things that I would be remiss if I didn’t mention them. They offer 6+ freebies each week that would be extremely beneficial for anyone building a brand or a business. Check out their freebie section for fonts, graphics, and even social media related bundles.
Are there any sites missing from my list? Where do you find your favorite cut files for personal and commercial use?
